I am having the most glorious day. Magically, I woke up this morning and wasn’t tired for once in my life. And then I walked outside. The sun was shining and this is the scene that greeted me:
I remember why I chose to go to school at OSU. It seriously was like a beautiful spring day today. The only indication of it not yet being spring was the cold air and the fact that the trees aren’t yet full of leaves, although flowers are beginning to bloom.
On top of that: strangers were saying “good morning” to me as we passed each other; I did fairly well on my textiles midterm; the elevator magically arrived on the first floor, empty, when I got back to my dorm; I even went to all four of my classes (it’s been weeks since I’ve done that). And not only that, but I think I look pretty cute today:
This outfit includes a couple of my favorite pieces: my cheetah print skirt you’ve seen in previous posts (from Ross); a men’s white button-up shirt (Wal-Mart); asymmetrical keyhole back sweater vest (Shopko – on sale for $3!), the purple jellys I wear with nearly everything (Old Navy); and topped off with purple heart earrings (Wal-Mart, I think) and three of my new Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland buttons (from The Angry Robot on Etsy).
